Over the decades, the second Sunday in February each year has become the highlight of every New Zealand car lover’s calendar. That’s when thousands of car enthusiasts join the simply curious at Auckland’s Ellerslie Race Course to see the country’s biggest line up of classics – many of them rated among the world’s best restorations.

26- 30th March. Beach Hop started in 2001 and remains a not for profit event, with all proceeds going to the local Onemana and Whangamata Surf Life Saving Clubs as well as the Whangamata Volunteer Coastguards. The winner of our Hustler Minibike will be announced at this event!

Muscle Car Madness - classics, rats, rods, bikes, trikes and appropriate trade and vendor stalls, live rock/country music all weekend.

Featuring wicked hot rods, retro caravans, vintage markets, historic motor racing, flag drop drag racing exhibitions, onsite camping, Miss Rockabilly NZ & Miss Rebel Round Up pageants, trade stands, a cocktail lounge, pinstripe artists and our legendary themed outdoor bar (where you can catch the line up of live bands).
